Program Housing

Our Student Dorms, & Apartments

Fully-furnished apartment living is an option for our students in either our brand new construction, studio units (what we call our program “dorms”), or our brand new two bedroom/two-bathroom shared apartments - all within two blocks of our NWCS office!  The single dorm units are all in one building occupied fully by our own program community, with most accessed by interior halls, each with a full bathroom and small kitchen. The shared apartments are also in an exclusively program-occupied building where students have private bedrooms/bathrooms, with a full kitchen, living area, and washer/dryers. All utilities are covered by Northwest College Support. Our student housing is within walking distance to the vibrant downtown area, parks, Lake Coeur d'Alene, and North Idaho College!

The ReSet Apartment Plan is optional housing for added support with 24/7 available awake, overnight staff and staff hosted meals. ReSet can serve two purposes depending on a student's need: 1. Supportive start for new students who benefit from increased supervision and structure as they transition into NWCS. The length of stay in ReSet is flexible before moving into an apartment. OR 2. A temporary setting for students that are already enrolled but would benefit from additional scaffolding and team support to get back on track. Again, the length of stay is based on personalized needs. While in ReSet, students have a community breakfast spread, pack lunches for the day, join staff hosted dinners, and return by 9pm at night (personal technology is turned into staff in the evenings). The daily schedules are similar to students in the apartments and dorms (therapy, coaching appointments, school, volunteer, employment, community activities, etc.).
