Together they have three young adult sons.

Bernie is currently developing a team of professionals to operate our new young adult transitional program which is slated to open June 1st. This program is named the Gemba Gap Program a therapeutically focused highly supported gap program for young adults.

Northwest College Support is committed to building a continuum of care to support a range of young adults. Over the past nine years we have served young adults in need of therapeutic support and we have focused on a population that intends to attend college. This new program will extend the availability of those support services to Boise for students who may be interested in Boise State.

In addition to expanding our current college support services, the Gemba Gap Program allows NWCS to extend our continuum of care to a group of students who need a more structured experience to prepare for adulthood. Partnering with Bernie allows our organization to grow and fill the needs of this group of students. We are excited to extend our continuum of care and meet one of our long term goals of providing services in the Boise area.
