College Courses

Students will be enrolled in two, 9-week courses through North Idaho College- Designing Your Career and College Study Skills. Each course is designed by NW College Support Education Coaches, and taught specifically for NW College Support students. The courses count as transferable elective credits, or can also count towards an Associates degree at North Idaho College.

Therapeutic & Life Skills

Summer College Series at NWCS includes a daily therapeutic group, and life coaching sessions. The therapeutic group is led by members of the NW College Support Clinical Team, and will be focused on issues related to the transition of going to college, and living as an independent young adult. Life Coaching sessions focus on teaching and exposing students to the independent living skills they will need in order to be successful in their next collegiate environment.

Adventures & Community Outings

North Idaho is an amazing place to spend the summer! Our program is located just blocks away from Lake Coeur d’Alene. Students will have the opportunity to enjoy staff-led hikes, wake surfing, and paddle boarding. Community activities will include movies, BBQs, and game nights. Some weekends will also include staff-led camping trips.
