Counseling Intern

Macy grew up in Garrison, North Dakota, and recently relocated to Coeur d'Alene to be closer to her family. She attended Valley City State University in North Dakota earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She continued her education and is receiving her Master's degree in Counseling with a concentration in clinical mental health. Macy has worked as a behavior technician providing ABA Therapy for children on the Autism spectrum. She also holds a certificate in Trauma-Focused CBT. Macy uses a person-centered approach focused on building relationships, utilizing strengths-based and CBT techniques. She enjoys working with young adults in transitional programs, helping clients uncover their innate strengths and grow into independent, fulfilled adults. Outside of work, Macy spends time exploring northern Idaho's beauty and bonding with her dog, Zeus.
